Clifford Berg – Co-Owner, Ground Force Excavation LLC
Clifford Berg is a North Country entrepreneur, contractor, and community-driven business owner with over 20 years of experience in the skilled trades. As the founder and CEO of CB Electric—voted Best Electrical Company in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties—Cliff has built a reputation for delivering dependable, high-quality service across residential and commercial projects throughout the region.
With a lifelong passion for hands-on work and heavy equipment, Cliff co-founded Ground Force Excavation LLC to bring the same level of professionalism and integrity to excavation, land clearing, site preparation, and outdoor construction services. His background in large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, trenching, underground utilities, and project management provides a unique advantage in excavation work—ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
Cliff is proud to serve the local community he calls home and is actively involved in organizations such as the Plattsburgh Noon Rotary, local Chambers of Commerce, and the Lions Club. His mission with Ground Force is simple: deliver reliable service, build lasting relationships, and help shape the future of the communities we live and work in—one project at a time.
Adam Plumb - Co-Owner, Ground Force Excavation LLC
I am a graduate of Champlain Valley Technical Institute, where I completed the Environmental Forestry Conservation program and later returned as an assistant instructor.
As an assistant teacher, I trained students in professional chainsaw operation and heavy equipment use, teaching them how to operate safely, efficiently, and with confidence. I also instructed students on how to run job sites effectively, emphasizing proper planning, hazard awareness, and teamwork. My role included helping students earn industry certifications and preparing them to excel and succeed in the field.
With many years of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and performing professional tree work, I bring extensive knowledge in land clearing, excavation, and forestry-related projects. My background combines technical education with real-world experience, allowing me to approach every job with precision and respect for the land.
